You know, there is one particular phrase that gets thrown around a lot, these days.
Anti-aging – which, when you stop to think about it, is a total misnomer. There is no such thing as anti-aging. Because you can’t stop the aging process, let alone reverse it.
But some argue that you can slow down the process and, as with everything to do with the human body, the key lies at the cellular level.
And it’s here where supplements can play a key role. Supplements are more properly known as dietary supplements which means quite simply they supplement one’s diet.
They don’t cure; they don’t heal. But they can and do play an important role in keeping the cells in our bodies healthy. And that can slow down the aging process.
This week, our guest is Dr. Barbara Barrett, a doctor of natural medicine and something of a specialist in supplements and supplement combinations.
She earned her PhD studying the role of Vitamin K and how it can powerfully impact our health. But Dr. Barrett doesn’t discuss only Vitamin K; she reviews the most important supplements to address cell senescence, oxidation and inflammation, any or all of which can lead to the development of cancer cells.
So, give this episode of The Art 2 Aging a careful listen. There’s a lot of highly useful content. The episode airs tomorrow (Thursday).
